The countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, faced a crisis caused by the arrival of Covid-19, which affected the political, economic, social, health and education systems, due to their unequal conditions caused by a bad management of their respective governments, which generated the application of transitory measures to face the consequences of the pandemic, in this way the following research has the purpose of “describing the Educational Policies in pandemic for Latin America and the Caribbean”. Methodology: Systematic review study of scientific articles, for which a sample of 50 articles in Spanish and English was taken, where the documentary analysis technique was used, obtaining the information from the Scopus, Scielo, Google Scholar and WOS databases. Results: In Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Uruguay, the governments were forced to change education from face-to-face to virtuality, thus avoiding the contagion of Covid-19, implementing programs and strategies such as virtual platforms, seeing the need to train teachers. Conclusions: This process of virtuality represented the increase of social gaps which prevented the fulfillment of the purposes of education.
