The purpose of this article was to analyze the relationship of corruption cases with the application of preventive detention to officials of the Executive Power; The systematic review methodology has been used, which has allowed the collection of relevant information from scientific articles in order to interpret and analyze it critically, in order to achieve the stated objective; reaching the conclusion that the cases of corruption are related to the preventive detention of officials of the Executive Branch, given that it has lived in our country in recent decades up to the present, they have led to the application of preventive detention to officials in order that they do not escape justice by agreeing to legal tricks.
