In Latin America, as in the rest of the world, public and private institutions, being very concerned about the impact that their activities cause on the environment, have been assuming commitments with it and in this way cooperating to protect our environment, thanks to Environmental Management. The objective of this work is to carry out a descriptive review and analysis of the bibliographic articles of different authors where they express ideas, concepts, initiatives and identify the main topics addressed on Environmental Management; For this, a comprehensive bibliographic search was carried out, using the academic google search platform, having certain criteria such as the date range of the publication, articles that included the words of environmental management and articles whose studies were carried out in Latin American countries. ; coming to review 65 articles from various countries. Among the results, it stands out that 28% of articles refer to analyzing the elements of environmental management used by the institutions; 13% of articles refer to analyzing aspects of environmental management in institutions; 10% refer to promoting the importance of education, 10% follow-up of environmental policies; In conclusion, the investigations of the articles found are mostly related to the study of Environmental Management in a given institution and the essence of all the investigations are related to raising awareness of man through Environmental Management for the conservation of the environment.
