Since the insertion of the internet and the new information and communication technologies, the need to learn the use of these new technologies arose, this is how in all areas of education the need to acquire digital skills arises. In Peru, technical-productive education does not escape the need to acquire digital skills both for learning and for the technical development of graduates of this type of education. Along with innovation and the need to add value, technical-productive education works under a series of traditional characteristics, however, the development of digital skills is a new and imminent need for this type of educational training. That is why this article highlights the need to develop digital skills in this type of teaching environment, which involves an effort by governments and the academic community as a whole.
