In this article, the author, through the application of a qualitative approach, raised the arguments against Euthanasia, supported by theorists and jurists, who have a different dogmatic and legal position, arguing that Euthanasia is not related to the foundation a dignity, in the case of people who suffer from unbearable terminal illnesses, highlighting the fundamental role of the State, where it is the guarantor of people’s lives from beginning to end, therefore it must promote health policies that guarantee people’s lives, categorically ruling out the right to a dignified death, without pain or suffering.
