Currently, to achieve the success of an organization, it is necessary to optimally develop the technical skills of its members, but it is also necessary to develop emotional skills, allowing for continuous improvement and the achievement of common objectives. The objective of this article was to determine the relationship between emotional competencies and organizational culture in a parochial school. The approach was quantitative, basic type of study with a non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design, the hypothetical-deductive method. The sample was made up of all I.E personnel, a total of 81 members, the sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience. The instrument used to measure emotional intelligence was the Inventory of Emotional Competencies in the Workplace (ICEL) and whose authors were Medina García, J., Bello Dávila, Z. & Alfonso León, A. (2022) and the Culture Inventory Organizational Education (ICOE) whose authors were Marcone and Martín del Buey (2000). The results were that emotional competencies were found at a moderate level (55.6%) and organizational culture was found at a medium level (50.6%). Finally, it is concluded that there is a direct and significant correlation between the variables emotional competencies and organizational culture.
