The objective of this research was to determine the sociodemographic factors associated with digital competence in teachers of a private educational institution. The methodological process consisted of an applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional, relational research. The sample size consisted of 82 teachers working in a private educational institution. The collection technique was the survey and the instrumental resource was the questionnaire. Among the results, the majority of teachers were between 41 and 55 years old (43.9\%), predominantly female (72.0%), with a poor level of digital competence (51.2%). It was shown that educational level is significantly associated with the pedagogical area dimension (p=0.002), and gender is significantly associated with the technical aspects dimension (p=0.035) and the school management dimension (p=0.035). On the contrary, it was shown that there are no sociodemographic factors associated with the dimension social, ethical and legal aspects (p>0.05) and with the dimension professional development (p>0.05).It was concluded that sex is the sociodemographic factor significantly associated with digital competence in teachers of a private educational institution in San Isidro, Lima, 2023.
