The present research work, whose objective was to determine the influence of collaborative work in the development of research skills of students in the specialty of early childhood education at Ispo Otuzco 2023. The type of research used was applied, the pre-experimental design. The population consisted of 48 students of the early education specialty. The survey and the questionnaire were used as instruments, and descriptive statistics were applied through tables and figures, to show the information of all the results, as well as SPSS and Excel software. At the discussion level, based on the results found, the general hypothesis that collaborative work does not influence the development of research competencies of students in the early childhood education specialty was accepted. Likewise, the Wilcoxon test shows that the value of Z=-6.637, which shows that collaborative work influences the development of research skills of students in the specialty of early childhood education at Ispo Otuzco 2023.
