The study aimed to analyze the factors that influence the sexual abuse of minors through computer means, causing irreparable harm to adolescents. An applied and descriptive methodology was used, collecting authentic information through interviews, with a phenomenological, hermenéutica and case study approach. The information was analyzed and 22 adolescents aged 12 to 17 were interviewed in 2022. The results showed a significant increase in this problem, especially in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho (Peru), affecting all social strata. Perceptions were found about the negative impact of excessive use of mobile devices, especially during virtual education during the COVID-19 pandemic. These crimes were more common in low-income areas, where parents left teens unsupervised due to their work responsibilities, posing a danger due to excessive device use. It was concluded that sexual crimes through social networks have a significant impact on the physical and mental intégrate of children in Peru, as a result of malpractice through mobile devices. These cases occur mainly in dysfunctional families, which has had negative effects on the psychosocial development of the victims.
