The objective of this research was to analyze how monitoring and control favors execution of public works. The research is basic, with a qualitative approach. The results show, It is concluded that, when it comes to the monitoring and control of execution of Public Works, one of instruments that allows the detail of activities and resources used in them, how is accountability, this document recognizes in detail expenses or costs to complete some goal of public work that will ultimately allow its execution.
