The objective of research was to carry out a systematic review of the right to access public information according to research disseminated in Spanish. And link the impact of transparency law on society. In this sense, the method to be used responds to the systematic review according to criteria established in PRISMA. In this sense, for the analysis we have considered 31 articles in Spanish indexed in the Scopus database from 2011 to 2022, which have been selected by inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results show in Spanish-speaking countries there is a growing interest in investigating issue of access to public information. Which expresses the growing interest in Latin American countries to publish research on the subject. Reaching the conclusion that researchers from Spanish-speaking countries show a growing interest in delving into access to public information, linking them to the topic of transparency, fundamental right, good government, information society, data protection, government institutions, comparative law. , national security, freedom of expression, environment, information society. And there are increasingly more Spanish-speaking researchers who seek to disseminate their research in a high-impact database such as Scopus.
