University higher education has faced the need to adapt training processes to the digital age and the use of artificial intelligence tools. In this context, the main objective of this article was to reflect on the influence of GeoGebra software on the meaningful learning of engineering students. The methodology used consisted of a systematic review with a qualitative descriptive approach. A study was carried out using sources such as SciElo, Scopus, Latindex, Redalyc and ProQuest, Google Scholar, Dialnet and Redalyc, etc. This process led to the discovery of 25 articles that address the use of technology in teaching engineering careers. As a result, it stands out that the use of Geogebra contributes significantly to problem solving and is positioned as a strategic tool in learning integral calculus. Aspects such as the acquisition of formal language, the construction of the model, its resolution and interpretation, and the application of the model were evaluated. In conclusion, the usefulness of GeoGebra stands out, allowing students to analyze mathematical content in more detail in a reduced time. Furthermore, it is noted that the use of this tool contributes to achieving key objectives, such as the improvement of academic performance and the complete development of mathematical competencies for engineering students, thus preparing the student for its practical application in their future profession. It is suggested to expand the application of this tool in other careers, considering other applications that can complement the training process.
