The objective of this research was to analyze the Electoral Processes in Latin America in order to understand the dynamics of the electoral processes, for this it will be explained through an analysis of the countries of Peru, Chile, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Ecuador and Mexico. The methodology used is qualitative, documentary analysis from a systematic review under the PRISMA methodology, using the Scopus, Wos, Scielo and Redalyc databases. In Latin America, there has been an increase in punishment votes against governments due to socio-economic deterioration, which has led to the alternation of power between parties of different political tendencies. In 2023, this trend is expected to be confirmed, with possible opposition victories in countries such as Guatemala, Argentina and Paraguay, while current governments face weakness and threats from institutional crises. It is concluded that Latin American governments face punishment voting, institutional crisis and political distrust, while the quality of democracy depends on electoral integrity, compulsory voting and the socio-economic context. Electoral processes are complex and diverse, and require strategic planning and collaboration between parties.
