The article investigates the existence of a ruling verb in the crime of Aggressions against Women and Members of the Family Group (Article 122°-B of the Peruvian Penal Code). A basic type analysis was carried out, systematic review design, meta-qualitative approach, inductive method, descriptive research level; Likewise, the case study and the analysis of documentary sources were used as a method; thus, 84 scientific articles were reviewed and 50 were selected for analysis. It was concluded that an urgent legislative reform is needed to avoid violations of rights and ensure the effectiveness of the protection system.
