The objective of this review was to analyze available literature on the radio soap opera in education as a didactic educational program to improve learning. Through the systematic review, available literature on the radio soap opera in education as a didactic educational program to improve learning was analyzed. We worked with 24 scientific articles that made up the sample, being publications from 2016 to 2022, in addition, they were collected from the following databases: Google Scholar, EBSCO, SAGE Journals, ProQuest, Scielo, Scopus and Dialnet. For the selection of the articles, the application of inclusion and exclusion filters was taken into account in order to reduce number of results until obtaining those related to the topic of interest, facilitating final choice. Once the analysis was done, three beneficial characteristics of the application of the radio soap opera as a didactic educational program to improve learning were obtained: Its innovative aspects, the improved learning factors and the different proposals for activities it offers. The results of this review can be a source of help for those teachers who seek to innovate in didactic teaching methods.
