The objective was to design a proposal for investment project management processes that contributes to improving the execution of the road infrastructure in the San Martín Region, 2022. The approach was quantitative, descriptive-propositive design; sample 1, there were 5 officials and 46 collaborators of the Regional Government of San Martín, 2022; Four questionnaires were used, valid in the opinion of 5 experts and with a reliability of (0.8694), (0.8953), the data systematized in the SPSSVER 25. The investment project management processes for officials and collaborators had a good level with 67%. The road infrastructure for officials and collaborators had a good level of 90%. They conclude that the design of a proposal for investment project management processes contributes to improving the road infrastructure of the Regional Government of San Martín, which is supported by components such as multi-year investment programming, formulation and evaluation, execution and operation. ; Based on the continuous improvement of the quality of the investments, with the adequate processes of efficiency and effectiveness, the construction of roads increases and the gaps are reduced, allowing greater access to public services for the well-being of citizens.
