Educational management is important in the educational development of a country. In Peru, educational quality is growing; and this depends on the management carried out in each school, for this reason, the objective of the present study was to describe the educational management carried out by the directors of secondary schools in Peru. For this purpose, a systematic review methodology was applied, following the PRISMA method, of sources between 2019 and 2023. 188 sources, belonging to databases of indexed journals, such as Redalyc, ResearchGate, Scielo, Dialnet and Google Scholar, of which 10 were analyzed according to the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. In conclusion, it was obtained that educational management has deficiencies in the country, however, there is also a desire for improvement and implementation of measures that increase the educational management carried out by directors.
