The purpose of this research was to determine the environmental culture of the students of the Educational Institution. We worked with a quantitative approach methodology, descriptive and non-experimental design, with a sample of 570 students belonging to the 2nd and 3rd grades of high school of the Educational Institution, who were selected by non-probabilistic intentional sampling of all the students belonging to the school in question. Likewise, the survey was used as a data collection technique and the questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument, which consisted of twenty-one (21) items. The results obtained showed that the students belonging to the 2nd and 3rd grades of high school of the Educational Institution presented deficiencies in their levels of environmental culture, expressing themselves in very low percentages, in their three (03) dimensions which could be improved by means of a correct environmental education. It was concluded that these students showed knowledge about the consequences of contaminating the environment.
