The review article presents bibliographic research on Ecologist Clubs as student activists, concerned about the problem of the environmental crisis that the earth faces; For this purpose, selected information was collected from Scopus, SciELO and Google Scholar databases. Environmental policies begin their implementation process since the global alarm was raised at the end of the 60s of the last century. More than half a century has passed, however, the environmental problem is not controlled, but on the contrary it is worsening, to the point that life on Earth is in danger. To prevent this environmental crisis, individual and social commitment must be key and fundamentally of the students, through the strengthening of competencies and capacities, in sustainable environmental culture, linking the school with the family and society; This challenge must be led by students belonging to environmental clubs; understanding that in the short term they will assume decisive roles for society, therefore, it is necessary to strengthen a solid base in environmental education. The article concludes, stating that the school constitutes the privileged space to implement environmental projects, which allows contributing to the change of attitude of everyone, including authorities, in order to take care of Mother Earth, which is our only home.
