The main objective of the research was to analyze the importance and knowledge of valuation by civil society, the public and private sectors in Peru. The methodology used was a bibliometric documentary review of 280 articles, using the data analysis method, with the help of Atlas.ti software and a non-experimental design. Knowing and understanding the relationship between the participants involved in the recovery and valorization of organic solid waste favors the increase of its use and mitigates the amount of materials that are wrongly destined for final disposal. The proposed methodology allowed the study of the integral management of solid waste, the performance of governmental management, the technology used for transformation, the importance of organic waste valorization, the process of organic valuation and the dimensions of valuation. Through the graphs, it was possible to know the participation of public environmental expenditure in the total expenditure by department from 2012 to 2020, the percentage of households that adequately dispose of organic solid domestic waste from 2013 to 2019 and the total generation of urban and non-domestic solid domestic waste, allowing conclusions to be drawn.
