The general objective of this article is to analyze how speed is perceived in the adoption processes of boys, girls and adolescents in Peru, being necessary to expose the main theories such as adoption, the principle of speed and the best interest of the child. Being aqualitative research, of a basic type and with a phenomenological design and has a descriptive scope allowing to describe the research problem and describe the facts of the silver reality. The author concludes the need for specific regulations to promote speed in adoption processes, making the respective modifications and for their effectiveness to be evaluated over time, highlighting the importance of reducing the procedural burden.
