The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the use of digital tools and the development of critical thinking in English students at a Language Center of a private university in Lima. The methodology applied was a correlational descriptive design. It was a Quantitative-Basic study. Non-experimental, Descriptive-Correlational. The population was 80 students. The non-probabilistic-intentional sample of 55 students. The instruments were validated by 5 experts Doctors in Education. For data analysis, inferential analysis and descriptive analysis were applied. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used and as the results were not normal, Spearman’s RHO was applied. The results indicated that there is a moderate correlation between the effective use of digital tools and the development of critical thinking in students. The findings suggest that the proper application of digital tools in teaching can improve cognitive skills and promote more active, collaborative and reflective learning.
