The objective was to establish the extent to which the Modernization of public management influences labor Productivity in the Local Educational Management Unit of the province of Huamanga, Ayacucho region, in the year 2023. For this reason, a design study was carried out. experimental, basic type, with a quantitative approach, correlational-causal level. The sample was 126 collaborators, to whom two instruments were applied. The data collection technique was the survey, and instrument was the questionnaire, with an ordinal scale. For its validity, verification of the instrument with Cronbach’s Alpha was used, obtaining a result of 0.92 for first variable and 0.94 for the second variable. As a result, it is evident that the majority of employees of the public entity perceive that the Modernization of public management has a very high level with 52%, as well as 47.2% rate Labor Productivity with a high level. Concluding that the Modernization of public management influences the Labor Productivity of the Local Educational Management Unit of the province of Huamanga, Ayacucho region, in the year 2023.
