The objective was to systematically identify and analyze the excellent scientific evidence available from different authors on the protective measures and mechanisms adopted in cases of family violence internationally during covid-19, obtaining as background research available from the Scopus databases. , Sciencedirect, Dialnet plus and Scielo for the last 5 years. The words “protective measures”, “family violence”, ” protective mechanisms during COVID-19″ were searched for in scientific articles dating from 2018 to 2022. The review of 72 references resulted in the rejection of 68 studies that did not comply with our aim of study, so it was examined the remaining 6 studies. It has been determined that during the confinement of covid-19, family violence cases increased, being that the protective measures and mechanisms adopted by different countries worldwide to deal with and attend to family violence cases were not sufficient to guarantee the victims protection, nor the reduction of cases. This scientific investigation will be used to support to present mechanisms and public policies that ensure the effectiveness of protective measures and mechanisms in cases of family violence in compliance with Law 30364.
