The main objective of this study was to evaluate how budget management affects the quality of service in health centers. To this end, a qualitative approach methodology was employed, using the documentary analysis technique and reviewing a total of 20 research articles indexed in databases such as Scopus, SciELO, PubMed and ProQuest. Among the main results, it was highlighted that the adequate allocation of resources is essential, but the real improvement comes from efficient and strategic management. The interconnection between budget, delivery and quality highlights the need for integrated approaches and structural reforms. Only by recognizing and addressing these systemic challenges can we aspire to raise the quality of care, improve experiences and ensure universal coverage for all. It is concluded that global health thrives not only with financial investment, but with wise and adaptive management of available resources.
