The introduction of innovative technologies in municipal public services is perceived as a key strategy to improve efficiency, transparency and citizen participation. The research study aims to analyze the existing evidence on the efficiency and quality of municipal public services. Three research questions were posed following the PICO method. To obtain the information, the Scopus database was used, using inclusion and exclusion criteria, through the PRISMA methodology for the identification, screening and inclusion of 26 crucial articles. Based on the analysis of the results, it is concluded that the integration of innovative technologies in municipal public services has the potential to generate significant improvements, but its implementation must be carefully managed to guarantee equitable benefits and a positive experience for the entire community.
