In recent years, various studies have analyzed the connection between educational actions and the environment in the face of problematic lack of environmental awareness. The objective of this systematic review of the scientific literature is to know the different contributions to educational action in environmental awareness worldwide. The methodology used was based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses (PRISMA) statement where 21 studies were chosen respecting the filtering and eligibility criteria; The information on the variables was explored in Scopus and Web Of Science databases between the period from 2021 to 2023. Document analysis strategies were applied since it is a theoretical study that seeks to systematize the information, clarify its characteristics. , methodological similarities and differences between them. The results obtained from the literature review maintain that education is the key to increasing people’s awareness of the environment, integrating environmental problems and activities from the initial stage to the advanced stage, incorporating government policies. and national to guarantee the necessary resources and budget, this is a win-win problem for everyone in the world.
