Education in the current context and the professional development of teachers face a strong challenge to adapt to a constantly changing environment, where the integration of information and communication technologies have emerged as a key need to meet the demands of an increasingly digitized society, therefore, the research aims to propose a pedagogical model based on information and communication technologies for the professional development of teachers in an educational institution, The study was of basic type, quantitative approach, projective level and non-experimental design, a population of 61 teachers was considered, the technique was the survey, by results, it was obtained that 56% of professionals have an average level, in addition, in the analysis of the dimensions of technical pedagogical, personal, social and institutional development, an average level was identified; The conclusion is the design of a pedagogical model entitled “Strengthening the professional development of teachers through ICT”, in which 10 workshops and strategies for technical, pedagogical, personal, social and institutional development were established, directly favoring the professional development of teachers and the improvement of teaching and learning practices.
