The Covid 19 pandemic has generated the use of technology in education, allowing multiple challenges to advance in student learning based on the teachings that were presented by teachers. The article intends to review and analyze the advances that have been obtained in reading comprehension and its influence of digital texts in this field and what was obtained in the various investigations in the years 2018 to 2021 at the secondary level. This research is descriptive, a systematic review of various articles published between 2018-2021 in accredited databases, indexed in high-impact digital repositories such as Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, in Spanish and English. In summary, digital texts increase reading motivation, create readability and facilitate cooperative learning, but in some cases their results are scarce or different from physical texts.
