The article aimed to show a concise analysis of the importance of the Performance Budget and Public spending in the effectiveness of Public Management, present in scientific journals and publications from 2016 to 2021. For this, a non-experimental, descriptive research was developed. and transversal; based on a bibliographic review, on the aforementioned variables, obtaining 50 publications. Among the main results is a direct relationship between budget management and the citizen’s quality of life, with the efficient and transparent use of resources being essential. Finally, it was concluded that the performance budget has the purpose of guaranteeing security, reducing poverty and strengthening the new Public Management for the benefit of Society.
