There are several researches regarding formative feedback in secondary and higher education students, aimed at improving student learning, which are based on theories, this is developed in the process with the help of activities, strategies and materials that are implemented by the teacher according to the results, the described allowed to raise the purpose of this research which was to analyze the importance of formative feedback in the production of argumentative texts, to this end, by means of a literature review, we worked with a sample of 26 articles published between 2020 and 2022 in high impact databases, the production of argumentative texts has better results when students review their work among peers, prior orientation of the criteria that will be taken into account according to the competencies, abilities, performances and learning standards, which are based on the textual communicative approach; keep in mind that the text is organized in superstructure, macrostructure and microstructure, every time a text is to be written, its properties such as adequacy, cohesion, coherence and conciseness should not be disregarded, in this current local, national and global context urges knowledge and management of technological tools.
