The purpose of the research was to identify the level of self-efficacy in high school students of a public educational institution in the district of San Martin de Porres, 2024. The study design was non-experimental, quantitative and transversal. Matthias Jerusalem and Ralf Schwarzer’s general self-efficacy scale was used to collect data. The sampling was non-probabilistic and was made up of 150 high school students from a public educational institution in the San Martin de Porres district of Lima – Peru, the students were aged 14 to 18 years (M=16.01, SD=1.049, 52 % women). In the results found, it can be highlighted that the levels of self-efficacy compared to the sex of the students, the level is lower in women than in men at 61.5%, comparing with the school year it is found that the fifth year presents a higher low level in 58.9% and finally, comparing with the age of the students, they presented a higher percentage in the low level at the age of 16 years with 63.5%. It can be concluded that the students presented levels of self-efficacy: 56% low, 35.3% average and 8.7% high.
