The objective of this research is to examine whether pedagogical spaces fulfill the mediating function in the relationship between family environment and academic performance of an educational institution in Nuevo Chimbote, 2023. Basic type, non-experimental quantitative design. The collected results were organized in frequency distribution tables and mediation analysis used with latent and observable variables. The discussion of results obtained is compared with the findings of previous research, in order to evaluate its coherence with the theoretical framework. The findings allow us to conclude that an adequate family environment is significantly associated with adequate pedagogical environments.
