The present work is a systematic review article, framed in the study of the progress of the modernization of the State, that is, its evolution is reviewed until reaching the current stage; with the objective of systematizing and analyzing the information found in different databases, which allowed answering the following question: ¿how much has the modernization of the Peruvian State evolved? For this, the bibliographic review of the literature in Spanish and English was used as a method, said investigations have been published in indexed journals; Thus, the search resulted in a total of 80 scientific articles prepared between 2015 and 2022, and these articles are characterized by being mostly descriptive.
