The objective of the research was to analyze and determine the factors that influence the effectiveness of the administrative management of the Techo Propio Program as an alternative for the construction of safer and lower cost homes in the province of Abancay, period 2019. The inductive method; starting from the basic knowledge of self-construction, as well as the effectiveness and identification of its main elements that lead to an adequate application in the management of an administrative nature of the public sector. The analytical-synthetic method was used; in the different phases of the investigation.
