The presence of dengue is a matter of concern within public health, therefore, it is important to know the progress of the scientific production of research on this matter in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC): 2018-2021, in order to implement adequate policies public health The bibliometric analysis method was used from original articles indexed in Scopus. The search focused on key characters such as “dengue” AND “Latin America and the Caribbean”. Excel and VOSviewer were the technological tools used for data analysis and processing. Brazil and the United States are the countries with the highest scientific production on dengue. Harris E. is the most published author. The Department of Environmental Sciences, Emory University is the organization with the most research. Plos neglected tropical diseases is the journal with the largest number of publications. The Effect of dengue serostatus on dengue vaccine safety and efficacy developed by Sridhar Saranya is the most cited article. The publications made by researchers from European countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Canada and the Netherlands stand out, who without having the effects of Aedes aegypti in their countries, carry out research in LAC. The scientific production on dengue remained constant in LAC America: 2018-2021 despite being in a pandemic generated by SARS CoV-19.
