The purpose of the research study was to determine the relationship between social networks and academic performance in time of Pandemic in students of the IX cycle in the Finance course of the administration career at the National University of Trujillo, Huamachuco headquarters. The study aims to identify which is the social network most used by students, in which activities, the hours used in its use, if the use affects their concentration in class. The research is non-experimental, descriptive correlational, cross-sectional, 46 students of the IX of the Administration career have participated in the 2021-I semester, the Social Networks Questionnaire was applied, contained in 10 questions, considering the dimensions: time of use, accessibility and the effects of use, likewise, it was contrasted with the final average of the finance course. The results showed that in time of the Pandemic there is no positive relationship between social networks and academic performance in students of the IX cycle in the Finance course of the administration career at the National University of Trujillo, Huamachuco headquarters, however a 19.60% consider that the networks have facilitated the study in the Finance course, with regard to the dimensions of time of use, accessibility and effects of use, it was found that there is no significant relationship, however, there are independent outstanding aspects.
