The present study seeks to develop a descriptive investigation regarding the bibliographic study on the implementation of educational public policies in favor of citizens. As a study problem we have: What are the studies in indexed journals regarding the involvement of officials in the management of educational public policies? The objective is to: Determine the studies carried out in indexed journals regarding the involvement of officials in the management of educational public policies. In the same way, the type of research in which this is framed is qualitative. Hernández, Fernández and Baptista (2014); They describe that a qualitative investigation approaches from the perception of those investigated, to later relate it to the existing fundamental theories and in this way scientific knowledge is enriched. The specific method is descriptive, on the other hand, the research level is descriptive-explanatory, because based on a coordinated planning at the researcher level, the description, analysis, and reflection of the research process and description of the involvement of officials in the management of educational public policies, the specific method was considered the systematic topographic review following the PRISMA protocol. Among the results are: More than 50% of the investigations carried out in indexed journals regarding the involvement of officials and management of public policies, refer to generic aspects of educational public policies, detailing aspects of a descriptive type and, above all, economic history of investment. economic.
