This study presents a review of scientific articles from the last 5 years on research related to collaborative work in the Peruvian educational context, taking as reference different databases, among them; Scopus, Web of Sciences, Scielos and Dialnet, among articles from Peru and other countries in the South American region where there is also interest in this topic. The following question was formulated: How is empirical research related to collaborative work shown in the Peruvian educational context? The objective of this research was to carry out a systematic review of the articles related to collaborative work in the Peruvian educational context. For this, the information from academic search engines has been used, that is, documents published in indexed academic journals, from national to international studies in order to rescue the different approaches to this problem with the different points of view, its approach, the problems, solutions and recommendations. It is concluded that collaborative work efficiently contributes to the cognitive achievement of students, in addition to the fact that there is a relationship between principal pedagogical leadership, work performance with collaborative work between teachers and administrators.
