Currently, Peru is going through problems that are addressed to public entities and even more so in municipalities that are reflected by the difficulties that arise in the performance of the collaborator, who sees their motivation diminished by the little incentive offered by the municipality, as well as work overload, physical documentation among other things. The objective of the study was to determine the influence of municipal management on job performance in a public entity in Peru, the sample that was considered was 132 administrative collaborators and through statistical procedures it was obtained as a result that municipal management is perceived at a medium level by 78.8% of employees, while job performance is also perceived as a medium level by 75% of employees. Concluding that municipal management does influence job performance (R2= 0.684 and Anova= 0.000).
