The objective of the research was to propose an institutional management proposal that contributes to compliance with social governance agreements in the Regional Government of San Martín, 2019-2022. The study was oriented to a basic typology with a quantitative approach of non-experimental, transversal, descriptive-propositive design; the population was represented by 220 and 150 collaborators and specialist professionals, while the sample consisted of 112 and 77 respectively; data collection was carried out using the survey technique, with questionnaires as instruments. Results: Institutional management in the Regional Government of San Martin, 2019-2022, presents an average level from the point of view of collaborators and specialists, as well as compliance with social governance agreements, which is why a not very favorable situation is perceived in the entity, which has required the presentation and implementation of suitable and effective plans. Conclusion: The institutional management proposal contributes significantly to the fulfillment of the social governance agreements in the Regional Government of San Martin, 2019-2022, as it will favor the good planning, organization, direction, and control of the activities that were programmed.
