The objective of the study was to design a municipal management proposal to help comply with the disaster risk and climate change management policy, Alto Amazonas, 2023. The approach was quantitative, descriptive-projective design; sample 1 was 74 administrative workers of the Provincial Municipality of Alto Amazonas, 2023 and sample 383 inhabitants of the province of Alto Amazonas, 2023; four questionnaires were used, Valid according to 5 experts and with reliability of (0.873), (0.862), (0.865), (0.845); data were tabulated in Excel. Municipal management for workers presents a regular level of 59.5%, for residents a bad level of 57.4%; the policy of disaster risk management and climate change in the province of Alto Amazonas, presents a regular level of 52.7%, for the villagers a bad level of 65.5%. It was concluded with the design of a municipal management proposal to help comply with the policy of disaster risk management and climate change, Alto Amazonas; since according to the efficiency with which it is developed, the policy can be implemented to ensure the safety and integrity of the population in the face of disasters.
