With the development of the information age, different educational challenges have been proposed but also opportunities have arisen to improve the practices of academic teaching in students, this research article aimed to analyze digital strategies for reading comprehension. in primary school students from a literature review; a mixed approach and a documentary methodology were used to carry out the bibliographic review of articles that were published in the last seven years considering the interval from 2016 to 2022; the analysis of 35 scientific articles that stood out in the topics of digital strategies and reading comprehension were taken into consideration. The different results came to show trends regarding the technologies used and, in the discrepancies, or results obtained focused on the comprehension of texts. It was concluded that digital strategies effectively increase motivation towards reading by students, as well as facilitating comprehension and continuously promoting interactive and collaborative learning; however, two results were identified that indicated that technological tools are not far from physical texts, indicating that reading comprehension is developed at the same level.
