The objective of this article was to prepare a systematic review article on public policies and sports development opportunities, where written information was analyzed through scientific articles, with a qualitative, quantitative, mixed approach, bibliographic and literature review. Methodologically, we carried out a systematic review of the literature (PRISMA), Checklist from item 1 to 10 (Table 1). of 50 scientific articles selected from the Scopus and Science Direct databases, articles indexed in English and Spanish. These information documents were analyzed according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, determined as the year old and the relevant information, so information was collected from scientific articles during the period 2018-2024. Where scientific evidence and comparisons of public policies and sports development opportunities were analyzed, which has allowed us to know and have a better understanding of this topic, serving as a source of knowledge for different areas of our society.
