The main objective of this article was to carry out a detailed evaluation of human talent management in public entities through an exhaustive review of the available literature. A literature research methodology was used to collect relevant information and analyze pertinent conceptual judgments related to the topic. The review was carried out through a critical analysis of several publications in scientific journals indexed in the Scopus, Scielo and Web of Sience databases, recognized for their notable influence on the global scientific community. This study helped to identify the influence of the various factors involved and their importance on personal and institutional progress. The results obtained provided a perspective on the degree of organization of the existing publications on this topic in the aforementioned databases.
