The development of electronic and digital government in Peru is a significant goal, particularly in light of the current situation, which has led to its transformation into a national policy aimed at meeting the needs and demands of the populace. In most Latin American countries, the public administration still relies on a management model primarily based on the use of paper documents, with little progress made towards adopting an electronic and digital system that could enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The methodological approach adopted was inductive-deductive, chosen because the logical process of information handling required this method. Regarding the organization of information, it was necessary to use the analytical-synthetic method. The findings indicate that the effective implementation of electronic and digital government in public institutions in Peru is influenced by several factors, including investment in economic resources to equip public institutions with appropriate technology and the development of digital skills in public employees, which significantly impacts administrative management.
