The province of Cusco, considered one of the tourist destinations worldwide, was affected by the pandemic, contracting the tourist flow and consequently the source of income and job creation. The most affected categories were hotel establishments, restaurants and travel agencies, which mainly absorb a large amount of labor. After the different Post Covid 19 measures decreed by the government, with the technical, operational and political capacity available in cooperation with the public and private sectors, it is slowly reactivated to reach pre-pandemic levels and development objectives. sustainable (SDG). The type of research chosen is descriptive and the objective is to review the public policies of the tourism sector for the economic reactivation of the province of Cusco. Methodologically, a systematic review is carried out on the key variables, starting in 2022. Information was selected from the Scopus, Scielo and Web of Science databases, among others, from whose scientific production empirical and theoretical data were obtained. Tourism is positioned with difficulties, to a new form of sustainable and responsible trade, with intangible heritage and the use of digital information technology, however, the integration of the Strategic Development Plan and the budget allocation in the achievement is still missing. of the objectives. Through the analysis of the PRISMA systematization process, the main results, reflections and opinions that arise on the topic are obtained and are far from being conclusive, but are intended to stimulate the discussion of sustainable tourism.
