To analyze the impact of environmental culture on the sustainable use of drinking water in the Chorrillos district during 2026. The research was conducted using a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population and sample consisted of 40 environmental specialists from the Chorrillos district, selected through non-probability census sampling. The data were collected through a previously validated and reliable questionnaire and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ordinal logistic regression, employing Nagelkerke’s coefficient to assess the percentage explained. 75% of participants showed a highly favorable perception of environmental culture, and 45% of participants showed a highly favorable perception of the sustainable use of drinking water. Furthermore, the likelihood ratio test revealed a significance of p = 0.000, confirming a statistically significant influence between the variables. The Nagelkerke coefficient reached a value of 0.806, indicating that environmental culture explains approximately 80.6% of the variability in the sustainable use of drinking water. It has been determined that water culture has a positive and significant impact on the sustainable use of drinking water, leading to the development of responsible practices for water conservation, efficiency, and use. Consequently, improving the quality of environmental education and increasing citizen participation is a key strategy for ensuring sustainable water management and sustainable development.
