This systematic review study addresses the issue of the socio-emotional impact of virtual environments on basic and higher education students. The objective of this research was to examine the socio-emotional impact found within virtual learning environments. For which, a systematic search of articles published in the main databases was carried out, in terms of the methodology used, it was through a systematic mapping within the databases in journals such as Scoupos, Scielo and Redalyc, in addition to this, comparisons were made at the level of approach within the problem and the differences that may present in other contexts.
