The objective of the research was to analyze the importance of emotional intelligence and learning in secondary education students in the post-pandemic context. A descriptive systematic review was carried out using specific search engines and descriptors, with a focus on quantitative and experimental research published between 2018 and 2022. The results highlighted that promoting emotional intelligence in students has a significant impact on educational processes, improving academic performance. It is suggested that educational authorities implement policies that value the importance of emotional intelligence in the comprehensive education of students. Researchers can address applied research to demonstrate the effects of education in emotional intelligence on student learning from an experimental perspective.
